Fish Sinigang

Fish sinigang or sinigang na isda is a type of Filipino fish soup wherein fish is cooked in a sour broth together with a variety of vegetables. This version makes use of fried red snapper (also known as maya-maya),  or other option of fish like milk fish or yellow fin.

Tortang Talong

This classic tortang talong recipe is a perfect go-to in most Filipino households. This is because it is quick, easy, and best of all, absolutely tasty without sacrificing nutritional value. A massive part of this dish is the ingredient eggplant, which is rich in vitamins C, K and B6, among many other nutrients. This is also perfect with some rice and a couple dollops of ketchup.

Adobong Manok

Lumpiang Gulay

Lumpiang Gulay is a fried mix of vegetable or togue spring rolls. Vegetables
like carrots, cabbage, green beans, potatoes, etc. are mixed together as fillings.
Variations can be made by adding shrimp, ground pork or beef, or tokwa
(bean curd). It is wrapped with a spring roll wrapper and finished it in the
form of a mini log. It is deep-fried until the wrappers turn golden brown. A
vinegar-based sauce is usually served for dipping.

Ensaladang Talong

Eggplant Salad or Ensaladang Talong is a simple Filipino Salad composed of grilled eggplant, tomatoes, and onions. This is eaten as a side dish and is best if partnered with grilled dishes such as inihaw na baboy or grilled pork belly.

Kamote Cue

Kamote Cue is refers to skewered deep-fried sweet potatoes with a coating of caramelized brown sugar. This is a common meryenda (mid-afternoon snack) in the Philippines and can mostly be seen peddled around the busy streets.

Banana Turon

Turon is a type of Filipino snack. It is also called banana lumpia due to its similarity to the popular Filipino lumpia. A typical Filipino meryenda and dessert, Turon has gained popularity throughout the years. This sweet snack can usually be seen on the streets being peddled along with banana-cue.
